Cleveland Construction is seeking dependable, quality-oriented, hard-working Welder to join our commercial construction team! The Welder will weld Exterior Cold Formed Metal Framing components to structural steel. It’s the kind of place that people look to find a job and wind up finding a career. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools
• Ability to read blueprints
• Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment
• Follow safety rules and regulations established by Cleveland Construction, Inc.
• Following safety protocol and OSHA regulations on a commercial job site
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Ability to work as a team member

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

• Attention to detail and desire for quality work
• Experience in proper operation of a variety of power hand tools
• Great communication skills

EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS /EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years’ experience as a welder
• Must have Certification
• Reliable means of transportation
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Pass E-Verify

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Able to work in all elements of the outdoor environment which include the heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.
• Able to access all areas of the jobsite, which include stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc.
• Capable of working in physical positions that may include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending, stooping, twisting etc.
• Must be able to move, carry, or position items weighing up to 50 pounds
