Position Title: Corporate Tax Strategist

Job Type: Full-Time
Small Brothers, LLC are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Strategist to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing a multifaceted group of companies. This position will have a wide range of responsibilities impacting the family of companies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to the company and family
- Proactively research new and existing tax code to lower the companies’ tax liability
- Suggest restructuring for tax liability purposes, when appropriate
- Participate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations
- Assist CFO with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, a plus
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships, and strong knowledge of ASC 740
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or family office tax advising
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information
